Joanna Freszel

 

Jeden z najbardziej interesujących sopranów młodego pokolenia. Stypendystka Ministra Kultury (2010, 2011), programu Pro Polonia (2011), ISA2012 (2012), zgłoszona do Paszportów Polityki (2010, 2012), odznaczona medalem Magna cum Laude dla najlepszego absolwenta UMFC (2013) i Stypendium Młoda Polska (2014). Doktorantka na w/w uczelni.

 

Nagrodzona m.in. na: Konkursie im. Halskiej (II Nagroda), Konkursie im. Szymanowskiego (III nagroda i nagroda specjalna), Konkursie im. Reszków (I nagroda i trzy nagrody specjalne), Konkursie Belvedere im. Gabor (nagroda specjalna), J:opera Voice Competition isa 12. (Giuseppe Sinopoli Award i nagroda specjalna Opery we Frankfurcie). Finalistka Viotti Competition (Vercelli).

 

Brała udział w nagraniach muzyki do polskich filmów takich jak Gwiazda Kopernika, Joanna, Jan Paweł II, 1920 Bitwa Warszawska. Występowała podczas festiwali Warszawska Jesień, Aix-en Provence, Contrechamps, Kwartet Śląski i jego goście, Saaremaa Opera Days, Opera in the Town Hall Festiva w Tallinie i in., także w siedzibie UNESCO w Paryżu, w Megaron Concert Hall w Thessalonikach. Współpracuje z Estońską Operą Narodową. Występowała jako Muzetta w La Bohème Pucciniego, Vénus i Phrygienne w Dardanus Rameau, Fiordiligi w Così fan tutte Mozarta, Małgorzata w Fauście Gounoda. Była zapraszana do współpracy przez Orkiestry: Filharmonii Narodowej, Białostockiej, Śląskiej, Krakowskiej, Świętokrzyskiej, Szczecińskiej, Sinfonia Iuventus, Capella Bydgostiensis, Filharmonii Lwowskiej, Odeskiej, Czernihowskiej, Donieckiej, Österreichisches Ensemble für Neue Musik, Camerata Viva, Orkiestrę AUXO i inne. Specjalizuje się w wykonawstwie muzyki współczesnej, choć z powodzeniem sięga do dzieł wszystkich epok.

 

Zdobyła tytuł mgr inż. Ochrony Środowiska w SGGW w Warszawie, pracuje jako pedagog i tłumacz.

 

Prywatnie mama małego Bartusia i jeszcze mniejszej Zuzi.

One of the most interesting sopranos of young generation, recipient of a scholarship awarded by the Polish Ministry of Education (2011, 2012), pro Polonia programme (2011), and ISA2012 programme (2012). She was a candidate for Polityka’s “Passport” (2010, 2012), and was awarded a Magna cum Laude medal for the best graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music (2013), and the “Młoda Polska” scholarship (2014).

 

Among others, she was awarded in the Halina Halska Competition (2nd prize), Karol Szymanowski Competition (3rd prize and a Special Award),J. E. J. Reszke Competition (1st prize and 3 Special Awards), International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition (Special Award), and J:opera Voice Competition isa12 (Giuseppe Sinopoli Award and a Special Award of the Frankfurt Opera). She is also the finalist of the Viotti Competition (Vercelli).

 

She recorded music to Polish films, such as Gwiazda Kopernika (Copernicus’ Star), Joanna, Jan Paweł II (John Paul II), 1920 Bitwa Warszawska (1920 Battle of Warsaw). She performed during many festivals: “Warsaw Autumn” Festival, Aix-en Provence, Contrechamps, “Silesian Quartet and Its Guests”, Saaremaa Opera Days, Opera in the Town Hall Festival in Tallin and others. She appeared on stage also in the UNESCO headquarters in Paris and in Megaron Concert Hall in Thessaloniki. She cooperates with Estonian National Opera. Joanna Freszel debuted as Musetta in La Bohème by
G. Puccini, in the role of Vénus and Phrygienne in Dardanus by
J. P. Rameau, in the role of Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte by W. A. Mozart, and as Margarete in Faust byCh. Gounod. She was invited to cooperate with several orchestras: Warsaw Philharmonic, Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic, Silesian, Cracow, Kielce, and Szczecin Philharmonic, Sinfonia Iuventus, Capella Bydgostiensis, Lviv, Odessa, Chernihiv, and Donetsk Philharmonic, Österreichisches Ensemble für Neue Musik, Camerata Viva, Orchestra AUKSO and many others. She specializes in performing contemporary music, however, she successfully draws inspiration from works of all epochs.

 

She is a qualified engineer. She obtained Master of Science in Environmental Protection at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

 

In private life she is the mother of small Bartuś and even smaller Zuzia.
